The double diaphragm clutch should only be considered if our single diaphragm button clutch will not hold the torque and abuse that it will be subject to. Although the double diaphragm clutch will hold more power than the single diaphragm it will significantly increase the pedal effort and as a result will put a lot more load on the clutch release system.

Heavy Duty Button Clutch kits are engineered with ceramic friction material, promising exceptional performance characterized by positive engagement. The construction involves the riveting of 3, 4, 5, or 6 buttons per side to a laser-cut flat segment, subsequently affixed to a solid center or a sprung center disk.

A distinctive aspect of these clutches is the absence of cushioning between the ceramic pads on the disk. This deliberate design choice ensures that clamp pressure is immediately applied, resulting in an assertive and aggressive engagement feel. It’s crucial to highlight that, in many cases, users may encounter clutch shudder, a characteristic that makes this style of clutch less suitable for vehicles intended for daily driving scenarios.
This specialized design, while delivering high-performance benefits, is best suited for applications where the aggressive engagement feel aligns with the driving requirements, acknowledging that the accompanying clutch shudder may not be conducive to the smoother demands of daily commuting

Optional Extra – Braided Line:  Bypassing the accumulator with a braided line in a clutch hydraulic system provides a more direct and responsive driving experience. It eliminates the delay caused by fluid dampening, allowing for sharper clutch engagement and improved shift precision—ideal for performance driving.  For enthusiasts seeking a more engaging and immediate connection with their vehicle, replacing the accumulator with a braided line offers a noticeable improvement in responsiveness.   Please note that removing the accumulator may introduce a slight pulsation in the clutch pedal, which is normally dampened by the factory component. Braided lines are not covered under warranty in the event that this occurs.
