Replacement Turbo for the CT26 turbo found on 1HD-T and 1HD-FT powered Toyota Landcruiser HDJ80, January 1990 – January 1995 with 4.2L 1HD-T Diesel engine and July 1995 – July 1999 with 4.2L 1HD-FT Diesel engine.
The 1HD-T is a 12 valve 4.2 L straight-6 SOHC turbocharged diesel engine of direct injection design. Output is 164 hp (122 kW; 166 PS) @ 3,600 rpm with 361 N⋅m (266 lb⋅ft) of torque @ 1,400 rpm.
The 1HD-FT is a 4.2 L straight-6 24 valve SOHC turbocharged diesel engine of direct injection design: Output is 168 hp (125 kW; 170 PS) ECE at 3,600 rpm with 380 N⋅m (280 lb⋅ft) of torque ECE at 2,500 rpm.
This unit features a larger than stock 3″ anti-surge compressor inlet and either Stock sized 8cm or quick-spool 7cm Bolt-on turbine housing for the ultimate in response. The unit can be supplied in either journal or ball bearing options with a range of compressor sizes to best suit your application.
The larger compressor wheels provide more top-end power but slower spool / response:
TD05H-16G = Suitable up to 200HP
TD05H-18G = Suitable for 200-250HP <- Most popular
TD05H-16KX = Suitable for 225-275HP <- Recommended
TD05H-20G = Suitable for 250-300HP <- Power levels 250HP+
The 12 Blade turbine is the standard option, the 9-Blade is a lightweight high-flow updated modern design by Kinugawa
The Stock sized turbine housing is 8cm, the 7cm provides quicker spool / response
